Inspired by a dream the artist had, Dream is a semi self-portrait. Constructed out of recycled metal, the piece is an ethereal meditation on the concept of self. Similar in style to Metal Mask, this piece also is about personhood to some degree, though is far more related to self-perception, and what that means to both the artist and the audience. Who are you to yourself? Who are you to others? What’s different and similar about these two things?
